A special Mother’s Day and Memorial Mass will be held on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at 8:30 am. This Mass will honor living and deceased mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, aunts, and the special women who nurture and support children. This Memorial Mass will also pay tribute to our departed brothers and sisters who have been buried in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. As we pray for all present, the names of the departed will be recited and included in our memorial remembrance book. A remembrance flower will be given to those present. Good Shepherd Sunday is the perfect time to pray for our priests, bishops, the pope, and all those who shepherd the Lord’s flock. In St. Stanislaus Church, there are two beautiful images of the Good Shepherd. One is portrayed in the exquisite stained-glass windows in the church. The other, as shown, is found elsewhere in the church. Father Michal invites you to find this depiction and email him (email@example.com) or send him a note (The Good Shepherd, St. Stanislaus Church, 123 Townsend Street, Buffalo, NY 14212) prior to Sunday, April 15, indicating its location. A “prize” will be awarded to the first five correct entries received.see more »
