The feast day of St. Blaise of Sebaste is on February 3. The sacramental blessing of throats will take place at St. Stanislaus Church during the Masses celebrated on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 4:00 pm (English) and Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 12:00 Noon (Polish). The blessing invokes the intercession of St. Blaise to protect the recipient from every disease of the throat and every other illness.
see more »On Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 6:00 pm at St. Stanislaus Church, Mass will be celebrated in Polish and English for the Presentation of Our Lord and the Purification of Mary. This day is referred to as Candlemas Day. It is the Feast of the Holy Mother of the Thunder Candle (Święto Matki Boskiej Gromnicznej). Bring your gromnica (candle) to church for blessing and use your candle to protect you from storms. It serves as a reminder that Jesus is the light of the world.
see more »Get creative. Learn to design your own Polish Pottery at the Pottery & Pączki Event on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 pm at St. Stanislaus Social Hall. Cost, which includes all supplies and Pączki, is $30 per person. Registration is open until February 15.
see more »Showing of the Film – Revenge or Forgiveness – has been cancelled for Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 12:00 Noon in the Marian Hall.
This film tells the story of lieutenant Stefan Wyszynski (Ksawery Szlenkier) - the future Primate of Poland, unknown to a wider audience. It is 1944, in the heat of war, we meet a young priest Wyszynski, who has recently been appointed chaplain of the branch in the Kampinos Forest. It is also active in the insurgent hospital. Everyone knows him there under the pseudonym "Radwan III". The reality of the war is for Fr. Wyszynski, a forge of character, a fight for hope and love, especially against enemies. How are we to forgive in everyday warfare? The hero asks, turning to the Source of his vocation.
